Jindebah Hills Coffee is an all Australian family owned company with three generations now involved in growing, roasting and coffee sales. Our coffee is grown at Jindebah Gardens Farm located in the hinterland of Byron Bay and Lennox Head, Northern NSW. The plantation is family owned and run, with careful knowledgeable attention to all aspects of production of our product.
The local micro climate together with the rich red volcanic soil combines to produce a unique mellow coffee which is naturally low in caffeine, is aromatic, flavoursome and has a nutty finish with light chocolate overtones and a balanced acidity.
Australia’s Arabica coffee is one of the most naturally produced coffees of the world as there are no serious pests or diseases requiring the use of harmful pesticides.
We are fortunate to have two creeks meandering through the property with some delightful waterfalls and the preserved rainforest and myriad of pools provide a haven for a host of wild life, including platypus and water birds.
COFFEE ROASTING AND DIRECT SALES
Our roasting facility and coffee shop, THE FRESH ROAST COFFEE HOUSE, 30 Kemble Court, Mitchell ACT (ph.6255 7300) has our Australian coffees and other single variety Arabica coffees from all the best coffee producing countries of the world, freshly roasted. Also available are coffee accessories and domestic and commercial machines – both sales and service.
